How do I return an item?

Shipping And Handling


All items are packed in strong, secure mailing sacks with extra padding where required. 

Standard postage and packaging costs are £3.50 for all orders up to £40.00 and £6.95 for orders over £40.00

Our postage, packing and handling charges are just that. They are not a postage cost but do include the cost of the postage. Packing materials, mailing bags, tape, labels etc all contribute towards the packaging costs. Retrieving your order, processing payments etc are all covered by the handling costs. 

Our charges are worked out using industry standard cost breaks and are also a result of our research of postage and packaging costs over the period of the last 12-18 months. From time to time there will be small orders that even if we are to follow our own charges to the letter do not warrant the full handing charge. In these circumstances we use our discretion to reduce charges acordingly. We believe our policy and charges are fair and transparent.

Delivery Schedule


All orders are generally dispatched within 3-5 working days, however plase allow 7- 10 days to receive your order during busier periods. If an item is out of stock we will notify you via telephone or email of expected delivery dates/times. We do aim though to dispatch most orders the same day they are received.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, you have the option of us back ordering it for you. You will be emailed or telephoned with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Product Availability

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. From time to time we may run out of a particular style, color or size and we make our best attempt to accurately reflect current stock availability on the Site. Guarantee

We guarantee your satisfaction. We will exchange or refund any products returned to us in as new saleable condition. 
We will refund, exchange or repair where necessary and faulty garment or item. Your statutory rights are not affected.

We will accept goods back into stock* for refund within 28 days of purchase.

Outside of 28 days we will give an exchange only

If we agree to accept an item for refund or exchange the goods must be returned in 'as new' condition with the original packaging and/or tags still attached. Items not adhering to these terms are subject to a 20% handling fee at the discretion of the management.

* Please note that your right to return items does not apply to products which fall into the following categories unless they are faulty:

Goods made or supplied to order
Socks and tights removed from packaging
Under garments and mouth guards

FAULTY GOODS

Items returned as faulty within 6 months of purchase will be inspected and if considered to be faulty due to a manufacturer fault will be repaired. If this is not possible a refund or replacement will be given. If there is any dispute into the cause of a fault i.e. caused by a child, washed wrongly etc, we will return the item to the manufacturer for analysis and decide the appropriate outcome dependant on the results.

Items over 6 months old will be dealt with at the discretion of Brenda's.

RETURNS BY POST

Please remember to ask the Post Office for your proof of posting certificate and retain it for your reference. 


REFUNDING POSTAGE

If we have made a mistake on an item sent to you or it is faulty or damaged then we will refund the delivery charges you have paid to receive that item. On all returns via post we will refund your original postage cost but not your return postage cost as per the Distance Selling Regulations 2000

STATUTORY RIGHTS

Your statutory rights are not affected by our Refund & Returns policy and you will have the benefit of them too. 


Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found athttp://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
